How I created Wahala dance – Kingston Papa

Kingsley Obotiti, CEO of Kinston Dancing School believes that Ajegunle which has produce notable musicians and footballers in the country would continue to churn out stars from the area. Kingsley is also known as Wahala by his fans.
Speaking with Daily sun recently, Kingsley who had being in the entertainment industry right from infancy stated that those who says that nothing good can come out of Ajegunle are lying, proving that Ajegunle has produced some top stars in the country, he further explained why, he is called Wahala and his plans to take Ajegunle music to greater height.
“I came into the entertainment industry professionally in 1996 as young dancer under the supervision of Kumbo in Port-Harcourt, that was when I get exposed to some top artistes like Kanayo O Kanayo Okey Bakassi Bright Chimezie and many others”.
He added that the reaction from his fans and other top musicians in the country gives him boost in his career, the young dancer and footballer declared that he had trained some professional dancers like, Shekere, Skin Bush, Kome, Bobo Your from his dancing school and most of them are working with some top musicians. Peoples around Ajegunle and its environs inspires me, he added, they appreciates my works and would always tell me to keep it up.
While explaining that he is the choreographer of the popular Dapada by Kimi Ramking, Obotiti stated that he has worked with other musicians like Raymond King and Flextaman, Femi Junglist, Marvelous Benji, Alen B, Omo Jesu with about 10 choreographed video to my credit. Why he is called Wahala, Kingsley stated “explaining why he’s called Wahala, Kingston said, i got the name when I started my career as a dancer, then invented a dance step which peoples finds it difficult to dance, so they decided to name both I and the dance Wahala. He noted that those who say nothing good can come out of Ajegunle are lying. His words “those who do usually says nothing good can come out of Ajegunle are naking fool of themselves, today, Ajegunle have produced most of top artist, footballers and the rest, a person like Daddy Showkey, Samson Siasia, Emmanuel Amunike and others all started their career in Ajegunle,
Describing Flextaman and Ortise Femi as one the most respected artistes in Ajegunle for the roles they’ve played in transforming Ajegunle music.
He added that his role model is Frank for his moral and financial support, sending this message to all his fans in conclusion, “believe in your dream, hold fast to your talent and always put God behind everything you do.”
