After failing the pick the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2014, former managing director Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority (LBRBDA) Engr. Roseline Adah Chenge seems to have sneaked into her private shell.
In fact, Chenge whose desire to fly the PDP’s flag in the April 11 governorship election has not been seen in the public lately, findings by Idoma Voice have shown.
Unlike before, the Ai-Uja, Owukpa-born Amazon was seen in most public functions, but after the primaries, where PDP delegate opted for Terhemen Tarzoor, the former LBRBDA boss is out of sight.
The last time she appeared in the media was when she illegally tried to rename Owukpa Street in Otukpo after herself and was overpowered by residents of the area.

However, IDOMA VOICE recalls that she was to was having a running battle with the EFCC.
However, Chenge while reacting to the hearsay refuted the claim, saying, there was no iota of truth in the story.

Hear her, “I want to state categorically that I have no running battle with EFCC; not all. Not even one that I know of. Most of the time when I work, I am prudent and I am rather rewarded because I work diligently. When I was the General Manager of Benue State Water Board, I executed the Greater Makurdi Water Works design.

It was a design that would have produced 45,000 cubic metres of water per day. When the governor was about signing the contract, I said ‘your Excellency, if we sign the 45,000 cubic metres of water per day, it will do us for the next 10 years and if God gives you a second term, you are going to build another set of water works.

Can we make it 100,000 cubic metres of water per day?’ And His Excellency obliged. While I was working there, I was picked by the Federal Government and was moved from the General Manager of Benue State Water Board, to be Managing Director of Lower Benue River Basin not on the basis of lobbying but on merit. So I want to tell you clearly that I have no issue with EFCC and I will never have any.”
