Unpaid salaries: Benue workers to protest against Suswam with live pigs on May 29

There are indications that Benue workers are planning to give the outgoing governor, Gabriel Suswam, a farewell blow.

In fact, the enraged civil servants in the state have vowed to disgrace the underfire governor when he will handover to the incoming Governor, Dr Samuel Ortom.

According to report, their reason might not be unoccencted with Suswam's refusal to pay their salaries for months.

Their decision is coming few days after the governor had seek for forgiveness from civil servants in the state to forgive.

  City wag claimed some Benue workers are hatching plans to carry live pigs to IBB Square, the venue of the handover ceremony, in mockery of Suswam. 

Recall that in September 2009, Suswam was alleged to have been caught with 47 billion naira in the US and when asked what he was doing with that kind of amount, he said he want to buy pigs for the state.
