Written By Idoma Television on Monday, June 15, 2015 | 9:17:00 AM

IDOMA VOICE can authoritatively confirm that water is back in Otukpo, the ancestral powerhouse of Idoma community but not 'stable and everywhere' as earlier claimed.
The social media platform went up in flame after some persons came up with the claim that the new government under the leadership of Samuel Ortom has restored water back in every nook and cranny of the ancient city.

However, checks by this newspaper show that contrary to the claim, the said water was only seen in few places in the town and it is not stable.

Speaking with our correspondent in Otukpo, a resident of Achanya Street who gave his name as Edwin said, "well, water is back but not stable. We thank the governor for backing his words with action, but they can do better. The water has taste and not drinkable.

Another resident of Ankpa street who gave his name as Grace said, "Water everywhere in Otukpo, are you serious?  Is the water invisible. I hope it is not the thing dropping like urine that they are claiming water is back in Otukpo? I dey laugh.

Also confirming the development, another resident who identified herself as Linda said, "the water na NEPA o! It comes and goes. But the claim of everywhere is what I can not confirm o. Anyway, we dey watch, at least them try past the last government.
