Steve Lawani reappears, drags Bongos Ikwue to Obi (PHOTOS)

After a long break from the public light, former Deputy Governor of Benue State,Chief Steven came out of his close shells following his exit from office as the state's number two man.
Lawani visited the family of Hon .Ode Opila who died recently.
He described the demise of Opila as a monumental loss for the Igede Nation and Benue state at large.
Speaking today during a condolence visit at the deceased’s residence in Obarike Ito ,Chief Lawani said he received the news of the demise of the late Hon Opila with great shock and utter disbelief .

He described the late Opila as a worthy son of the state who has paid his dues through his illustrious career in the civil service,religious activities and political responsibilities.

Chief Lawani assured the family he will stand by them at this moment of their grief and thereafter .
Responding on behalf of the family,Bishop Dave Agada expressed appreciation to Chief Lawani Lawani for the visit describing it as comforting.

The late Opilla who died on the 10/07/15 was at various times Treasurer,Caretaker chairman of Obi LG council and Coordinator Lawani Campaign Organization for Obi .

Also on the visit with Lawani were former member BNHA ,Hon Olofu Ogwuche, Music Legend,Bongos Ikwue.

Others: Michael Ochojila, Adakole Akatu,Moses Egbodo and local govt coordinators of the defunct LACO in Zone C.
