A-yet-to-be identified young man suspected to be a member of the Boko Haram insurgent has been arrested around Ugwu Okpoga by the Okpokwu-Okpoga division of the vigilante group at about 4:AM local time on July 14th, 2015.
According to Rtd DSP Sunday -chairman of the group, the man who had one Knock-Off Rapid Response AK47 and large catch of live ammunition is suspected to be a member of the dreaded terror group who may be escaping the counter attack being launched on the group by men of the Nigerian military.

Residents of the area said the suspect, "is a Fulani guy who was among the fighters hired by the head of Fulani in Okpoga region based in Ichama named NANA. Nanas wife who hawks nunu was killed deliberately by misinformed youths in Ameju Okpoga early this year and was buried in an unknown destination.

Nana had earlier visited the Ameju youths and elders pleading that he takes possession of his wife's body and give her a befitting Islamic funeral rites but the villagers turned down his request.

Nana kept those guys in Okpoga for a long time now and was unable to pay them so this guy had to sell his arms and amunitions to find his way out and was arrested by security men. The original conflict is between edumoga and fulani's."
