There's currently fire on the mountain of the People Democratic Party in Benue State as big wigs of the party have continue to fold their umbellas.

There are indications that elder brother of former Governor of Benue State, Chief Terkula Suswam may be on his way to joining the ruling party in the state, the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Chief Suswam during the tenure of his brother was dubbed the “assistant Governor” due to the blank cheque of power accorded him, but times have changed and with the former Governor embattled with cases of financial fraud, he may just have chosen the easy way out.

The Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. James Anbua who hails from the same area as Chief Suswam gave the hint during a program “View Point” on Radio Benue where he promised to bring top level politicians of Sankera region who are in the opposition party back to the APC. In his words, “Believe me, I am bringing Dr. Terkula Suswam back to the ruling party APC.”
Mr. Anbua called on the people of the state to put aside party differences and support the Samuel Ortom-led administration to succeed as the Governor had good developmental plans for the state especially in agriculture since he also is a farmer with large farms.
