Benue State Ex-Governor Gabriel Suswam has filed a suit against the state government for the revocation of the Atom Kpera Lodge which he allocated to himself while in office.

The former governor who filed his petition through his lawyer, Bar. David Iorhemba, the former Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, is also demanding for 100 Million Naira as compensation
In a revocation notice to the former Governor from the state’s Head of Service, Mr Adaikwu Inwata, the state government stated that they had sighted “fundamental irregularities” in the process that led to the transaction and ordered him to vacate the property immediately.

Counsel to Suswam however, explained that the Ex-Governor was not invited before the revocation and, therefore, sues for a compensation of one hundred million naira from the state government.
Counsel to the State Government and Commissioner for Justice, Michael Gusa said Government is ready to defend its actions.
