Under 17 National Basketball team trashes 'G to G' as 'Mark D Ball' enters Day 4

 Activities at the ongoing 'Mark D Ball' tournament are getting higher and more interesting as various teams represented are putting up their best to push home more points. 
 This is even as the Under 17 Team whipped the popular G to G with 26 points and the G to G only managed to push 16 points in the match played in Otukpo on Sunday by 8pm. 

The U-17 Female National Team, a record-breaking Basketball Queens has continued to make Nigeria proud ever since it made a glorious outing in Madagascar early in 2015 and has also qualified to represent the African continent in Spain come 2016. 

During the kick-off match, the Sweeties Female Team of Makurdi dealt with their Amazons counterpart from Nasarawa with 35 points to 27 while Braves of Makurdi defeated St. Mark of Otukpo with 35 points to 22 in the male category.

 The Future Drive, an Abuja based Male Basketball team came hard on the Tin City from Jos with 17-15 aggregate while the Suleja team lost out to ESPN of Otukpo with 26-39 aggregate in the Male category. 

On Sunday, the G to G Female Team slugged it out with the Apa Queens with total of 23-19 points while Betlehem recorded 44 points against 32 in their encounter with the St. Mark in the female team. 

The Braves trashes Apa Flames with 29 against 24 points while ESPN lost to Blame it on Experience with 27-37 aggregate in the male category. The Suleja Warriors dealt with the Blazers in their Sunday encounter with 28-22 aggregates while the Tin City of Jos lost woefully to the Amazons in the Female category with 24-19 points. 

The match between the Experience of Otukpo and the Blazers of Otukpo earlier scheduled for Saturday was however decided on Sunday with the Experience clamping down on the Blazers with 43 points to 34. 

The 2015 edition of 'Mark D Ball', the biggest Basketball tournament in Nigeria is still ongoing and each participating team struggling to remain afloat with utmost aim of taking home the trophy.
