No fewer than 10,000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State are set to join the All Progressives Congress.

DAILY POST gathered that the defectors would formally dump the party, in Otukpo, Benue State.
Among those who would be welcomed to the APC fold include, the immediate past deputy governor of the state, Steve Lawani, former senatorial aspirant on the platform of the PDP, Mike Okibe Onoja, former Leader of Ogbadibo Local Council, Fred Apochi and a host of other political big wigs from the zone.

A close insider told our reporter that the development will further boost the chance of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Dan Onjeh in the coming election.

"Over ten thousand members of the PDP are ready to join APC. They will all formally join the change train at the flag off of the Onjeh Campaign on Tuesday," he said.

Confirming the development,
Apochi, who represented Ehaje Ward 2, said: "Yes, I'm now a member of the APC. I am behind my friend and brother, Onjeh. No going back, APC all the way."
