Former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Mike Onoja has stated that it would be disastrous for Idoma nation to be in the opposition party as a minority group in Nigeria
I am here because I want to join the change train of the APC.

Speaking exclusively to IDOMAVOICE.COM on why he defected to the APC from the PDP, the former senatorial aspirant said he wants to be identified with the gospel of change currently spreading across the nation.

 His words, "
We also want Idoma people to be in the main stream of politics in Nigeria. We don't want Idoma to play the politics of opposition because opposition is not good for Idoma as a minority tribe in Nigeria.

"We want to be in the mainstream and that is why we are carrying all our people along to the mainstream of politics in Nigeria."
