One Idoma Initiative, organizers of the Wednesday’s protest against the ceaseless killings in Agatu has insisted on going on with the planned protest despite the recent statement by President Buhari.
Buhari had in a statement Sunday night ordered immediate investigation into the root cause of the crisis in the area.
Edeh stressed that the march will put the relevant authorities on their toes.
“We want to inform all Idoma sons and daughters that our protest will still hold. The statement by the president will not stop our match. We need to put them on their toes to act fast before they wipe out the entire Agatu community,” he told our reporter.
