Music legend and Cock Crow at Dawn crooner, Chief Bongos Ikwue has expressed readiness ahead of tomorrow's event, Agatu Peace Concert.
The singer, who is already in Abuja ahead of the programme said he would be live at there live to thrill his teeming fans.
Speaking on Love FM, Abuja on Saturday, the singer said no one has the moral right to take any man's life.
"The killings of Nigerians by any group of people is a national concern. Why killing ourselves in the name of religion or whatsoever? It is sad and stupid.
"I think the government and people concerned should take the necessary steps to end this killings in Agatu and any part of the country," the 74-year-old Idoma native said.
Speaking further, Bongos said he has decided to team up with his kinsmen in the entertainment industry to preach peace ad unity.
"That is why we are organising the Agatu Peace Concert to the Nigerians that Nigeria has come to stay," Bongos Ikwue who was flanked by Leader of the One Idoma Initiative' Bar Paul Edeh, popular OAP, Naomi Oboyi, Idoma Publisher and Head, Media (Digital), Ameh Comrade Godwin said.
The event, which is slated for Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, will parade top like 2baba Idibia, Bongos Ikwue, Blackface, Desmond Elliot, Uti Nwachukwu, Chris Morgan, Enenche Enenche, Naomi D’Diva, Peter Otulu and a host of others.
