Father Adeyi's lifeless body was found near a farm in Ogbadibo, Wednesday morning after missing for over two months.
In Catholic hierarchy, the late Father Adeyi, who should have turned 51 in July, is the first ordained priest from Otukpa in Ogbadibo is second in command of the Diocese of Otukpo.
A statement signed by Ochefije Iwodi on behalf of the group said friends and family member of the murdered priest will converge at the Unity Fountain by the Benue side of the Fountain on Saturday 25 June 2016 to pray and praise as well as ask God to avert such tragedy from be falling the Idoma nation again.
"The death of Father Adeyi is a monumental loss to Idoma nation and the Catholic body. He was a reverend gentleman who was upright and just until he abduction and eventual murder by the dare-devil gunmen who are already facing the wrath of God.
"We want to gather together to pray for his soul to rest in perfect peace and the same time tell God never to allow such ugly incident becloud us again. We don't need protest and even the late Adeyi was a man of peace who would not want such," Iwodi said.
The statement added that all participants should appear on all white apparel by 10am on Saturday.
