I was in a crucial business meeting at Asokoro this afternoon when a friend called to inform me of the hasty response of the Benue state Director of Publicity of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr John Ikwulono.
As an elder whose praxis does not contradict his avowed theoretical beliefs, I won't join issues with the person of Ikwulono, but I would advise that they could have taken their time to conceptualise and contextualise the nitty gritty of my candid advise before jumping to the press to attack me.
Recall that prior to the senatorial rerun election between David Mark and Daniel Onjeh, I philosophically sounded a similar warning but they turned their deaf ears .
The consequence was the cataclysmic cum embarrassing defeat APC suffered in the hands of PDP. Let me quickly call the attention of the 'spokesman' of APC that as a matter of historical accuracy, I was purportedly 'suspended' alongside Chief Obande Obeya, Hon Nelson Alapa and other chieftains of APC in zone C, but the governor in his wisdom directed the party to respectfully recall us back, which you did. Have you forgotten so quickly? Or you are deliberately playing the scripts of your benefactors?
And again, I want to draw your attention to the your letter where you hurriedly quoted me out of context that I said "there is no leadership in zone c" please go through the piece again and possibly put on your glasses to see clearly that I only wrote that "APC has no identifiable leader". My Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary still differentiate between Leadership and a Leader. You also wrote that "Opposition is dead and buried".
Hope you have not forgotten that APC as it is now is the opposition party in Zone C. The earlier you realise this fact, the better you prepare for the local government elections.
Am indeed surprised why you mentioned the revered Abba Moro in an APC family issue. Abba Moro is a blood brother from Ugbokolo, and no matter the political affiliations, I will continue to hold him in very high esteem.
Let me advise you that your puppeteers hatred for Abba Moro should not be drag to APC politics. My relationship with Abba Moro is cordial, but that doesn't stop me from blowing the trumpet of my party (APC).
Do we need a rocket scientist to know that the dwindling of APC's popularity in the zone is largely due to the rascality and arrogance displayed by the party leadership in the zone? My brother, Ikwulono. Please don't always dance to the whims and caprices of those who pays the piper. You are an asset to Idoma nation and Benue state. I meant well.
God bless Idoma land. For Advert: Call 08171607004, 09058228464 Follow us on Twitter @idomavoice, @idomanews Send us releases at firstname.lastname@example.org
