He gave this ultimatum yesterday at the funeral of his Senior Special Assistant on Special Security, the late Denen Igbana who was assassinated a fortnight ago.
Governor Ortom said the killers of his aide were the enemies of his administration who sought to truncate the success of the amnesty program by eliminating the late Igbana who was its major pillar.
He said the development has gingered him to redouble efforts to sustain the program as doing otherwise would imply surrender of the state to criminals which he said could not be contemplated.
The Governor therefore urged criminals to utilise the additional period to surrender as there will be massive crackdown on those who fail to comply at the expiration of the time.
He confirmed that nine persons including a member of his cabinet were in police custody for questioning and vowed not to shield anyone from investigation by security agencies.
