How I escaped assassination in Owukpa – Ortom’s SA, Austine Agada

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Administration, Cabinet Office Comrade Austin Agada has confirmed the attack on him in his country home, Owukpa.
 
Report broke out yesterday that the governor’s SA escaped assassination by whiskers botched Owukpa Youth election.

It was gathered that the said election was scheduled to hold today, September 24, but during the convention, pandemonium erupted due to some irregularities observed by some delegates.

According to eyewitness, it was when one Mr. Lawrence Okoh, the PDP ward chairman of Ehaje ll, who tried to manipulate the electoral process to enable him (Okoh) emerge as the Secretary without opposition, that triggered off the commotion and the election was postpone indefinitely.

As a result of the inability of Lawrence to clinch the post of Secretary, he vowed to the astonishment of the delegates present and at the market square that he will kill Austin Agada. It was from there, Lawrence mobilised thugs to the resident of Austin Agada, where they shot sporadically, while Agada manage to escape through the back door.
Confirming the incident to IDOMA VOICE on phone on Saturday, Agada, a native of Ai-Odu said it was God that save him from death last night.
“They wanted to kill me but I escaped through my nose. Comrade Ameh, I will give you details later as soon as I am settled,” Agada, a former house of assembly aspirant said.
