Your service is no longer needed – Governor Ortom tells Gurgur Japheth, SSA on Administration

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has sacked his Senior Special Assistant on Administration, Mr Gurgur Japheth.

A statement signed on behalf of Acting Secretary to the state Government by Damian Achigbe, Assistant Director of Information said, Japhet’s services were no longer needed.

Before joining the governor, Mr Gurgur was the Assistant Registrar at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
Until this Development, Mr Gurgur was attached to the wife of the Executive Governor of Benue State, Dr. Eunice Ortom.
Japhet, who calls himself Member of the Public has been very vocal in the media, especially with the way masses are suffering under the current government.
Confirming the development, the outspoken Japhet, who is believed to be the best among the appointees of Ortom thanked his friends who congratulated him when he was appointed and who equally, stood by him when the table turned.
“He said, “When I got my appointment letter, I posted it to you. If I get any otherwise, I will post here with appreciation, analysis and appraisal. Thank you all who have called, calling and inboxing”.
