Amb Dickson Akoh celebrates over passage of Nigerian Peace Corps Bill

Idoma-born Ambasador Dickson Akoh is the happiest person at the moment following the passage of the Nigeria Peace Corps Bill into law by the senate.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the Senate on Thursday passed the Nigerian Peace Corps Bill into law, thereby giving approval for the establishment of the Nigerian Peace Corps as agency under the Ministry of Interior.

Our reporter  learnt that the moment the upper chamber gave the nod for the bill, Akoh, a native of Otukpo, Benue State could not hold back his excitement.  

In June, the lower chamber of the national assembly had approved theseeking the establishment of Nigerian Peace Corps. 

Akor had said, “God Almighty, I dedicate this success to You and to all my Officers and Men, especially National Headquarters Staff who stood resolutely by me in the course of struggle and the tides we passed through!!
