2016 in retrospect: Unforgettable deaths in Idomaland

As the year 2016 draws its curtain, your-soar away community tabloid king, IDOMA VOICE takes a quick look at the unforgettable deaths that shook the Idoma nation.
Abagaya Enoh
In October, fast-rising rapper, Peter Abagaya Enoh otherwise know as IQ Blaze passed on.
Enoh, a native of Eke, in Okpokwu LGA of Benue State died at the age of 29 after battling undisclosed ailment.
Apostle Victor Egbe
Tragedy hit the Benue State University (BSU) Makurdi in October after a medical student and the founder of Campus Witness Church, Apostle Victor Egbe slumped and died.
Egbe had gone to the University Clinic to pray for a student who was ill  but could not leave to witness the testimony of the healing as he slumped and died immediately after the prayer. October
Abba Peter Ameh
In November 6, a sad end came to the journey on earth of a 28-year-old Benue man simply identified as Abba Peter Ameh who just completed his one year compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
Ameh who was one of the Batch B Stream 2 set corps members that passed out on Friday, November 4, was reportedly heading back home to meet his family in Benue State when the fatal accident occurred.
Emmanuel Abakpa Adegbe
Emmanuel Abakpa Adegbe, erstwhile Head of Department, Business Administration and Dean, School of Business of the Benue State  Polytechic, Ugbokolo also passed on in 2016.
The late Abakpa was buried in his country home in Adum Aiona village in Orokam, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.
Ene Getrude Adole
A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, identified as
also died in the year 2016.
Ene, who studied at Benue State University, Makurdi died to unknown ailment in September.
Father John Adeyi
In June kidnapped Rev. Father John Adeyi found dead in Otukpa, body decaying as police and village besiege back of LGEA secretariat where the body was dumped by his suspected abductors.
Father Adeyi, the vicar of the Otukpo Diocese was kidnapped by unknown gunmen but was never released in spite of the payment of the sum of two million naira as ransom.
July
Rev Sammoses Enenche
In July, Sammoses Enenche, younger brother to Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis is died.
 Rev. Enenche, famously known back home as Odiba who leads the Jesus Glory Outreach passed away after working tirelessly in the Lord’s vineyard for years.
Rev Dr. Paul Agbo
In November, the death was announced of another God’s General, Rev Dr. Paul Agbo of Global Gospel Cedars, Maraba, Nasarawa State.
Agbo, who is a native Eha Uleke in Itabono Owukpa passed to undisclosed ailment.
Godwin Ejeh
 A certain Godwin Ejeh, an SS3 student of Jesus College, Otukpo was in October electrocuted to death after he allegedly climbed up into the ceiling in the school hostel to do illegal connection to charge his handset. 
Christian Ohi
Towards the tail end of the year 2016, another tragedy hit the Idoma media spehere following the demise of ace broadcaster and a presenter with Joy FM Otukpo, Ohi Christian. His death came to many, especially his teeming listeners as rude shock.
