The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche, yesterday donated a patrol van to the Nigeria Police, Durumi Division, Abuja.
This is the second time in three years that the fiery preacher is showing such gesture to the division.
Donating the vehicle to the police on behalf of the ministry on Christmas Day, Dr. Paul, who was flanked by his ever-supportive wife, Dr. Becky, urged the police to use the vehicle astutely in the course of their duty to protect lives and property within the division and the FCT at large.
“As you can see, the vehicle is bearing the name of the church and you know what that means. We urge you to use this to the glory of God and handle it with care,” he said while handing over the key to the DPO.
In a swift response, the DPO, who was accompanied by his colleagues, thanked the God’s General for the kind gesture. He prayed God to keep Dr. Paul, his family as well as the ministry.
In a related development, the welfare arm of the ministry, last week embarked on a community empowerment programme within Area, 1 the seat of Dunamis Headquarters.
The team, during the programme reached out to residents of the community as part of its community social responsibilities.
Among the items distributed to beneficiaries were bags of rice, grinding machines, ovens, wrappers, and several food items.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, a young man, who was empowered with a washing machine, thanked the ministry for the kind gesture.
Similarly, another woman, who was empowered with a grinding machine, lauded the ministry for making her dream come true.
Most of the beneficiaries, who spoke with our correspondent, shortly after the event thanked Dr. Paul Enenche and his wife, Dr. Becky for the showers of love.
