NUBESS 2017: Confusion as two presidents emerge at Benue Students’ election

 The 2017 elections of the National Union of Benue State Students were marred with confusion on Friday following the emergence of two claimants to the presidency stool.

Why some are reporting that Comrade Nambeh Aondofa Peter won the election, others are claiming that Vera Laadi Akase is the authentic president.
According to reports, Vera who contested alongside other contestants was able to poll a total of 74 out 132 registered votes.

She contested alongside three other aspirants who scored 50 and 4 with invalid votes of 8.
She was reportedly declared winner by the chairman of the 2016 NUBESS convention Comr Mike Nyikombo.
