REVEALED! How Prof James Ayatse emerged Tor Tiv the fifth (INSIDER'S ACCOUNT)

More revelations have emerged on how respected academician, HRM, Prof James Ayatse was elected as the new Tor Tiv of Tiv land. 

IDOMA VOICE reports that Ayatse, a former university don was elected the new Tiv traditional ruler in a hotly contested election in Gboko, the power house of the Tiv community.
Findings by our reporter show seven persons had earlier indicated interest in the crown but four persons made it to the final stage.

Among the earlier contenders were: Andrew Wombo from Sankera, Prof Daniel Saaor also of Sankera , Benedict Shinku of Sankera as well as Prof James Ayatse, the sole candidate from Kwande.

Ikpambese, the native of Turan could not make it to the main contest.

After series of meetings that lasted for hours, Ipusu zoned the Tor Tiv stool to Kwande. The Ipusu from Sankera earlier kicked against the decision on the ground that they have not occupied the seat before.

Eventually, Kwande zoned it to Shangev ya and the voting commenced.

Over 46 kingmakers made the decision that produced the new king.

Prof James Ayatse of Kwande axis who got the highest votes, (39) was successfully returned winner.

According to the result, Andrew Wombo from Sankera axis got 1 vote . prof Daniel Saaor also of Sankera got 3 votes and Benedict Shinku of Sankera got 3 votes.
