SHAME! Benue athletes stranded in Abuja after event (PHOTO)

Representatives of Benue State at the just concluded tracks and field event are currently stranded in Abuja over inability to afford transport fare back to the state capital, Makurdi.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that one of the disappointed representatives, Zever Priscilla, who broke the news on her Facebook page, said they have no transport fare to return home despite their victories outing.
She wrote: “Benue State athletes are still in Abuja, after winning their events, cos there is no TRANSPORT to back home.”

Meanwhile, the Benue State ministry of sports has not reacted or taken ant action at the time of this report.
