God’s choice servant and veteran in the gospel, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre Worldwide, yesterday visited the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

Recall that over 200,000 persons were recent rendered homeless by flood in the state.

Dr. Paul Enenche, who was accompanied by the pastor of the Makurdi branch, Pastor Oloche King Adaji spent time at the IDPs camp where he prayed and donated relief materials to the victims.
The cleric, who was received by the deputy governor of the state, Engr. Benson Abounu, donated relief materials to the flood victims.
Addressing the IDPs during his visit, Dr. Enenche urged them not to allow the disaster deter them from their union and communion with God.
He couldn’t hold back his passion as he also prayed and ministered to the sick in the camp.
Touched by the magnitude of the human sufferings and the level of the devastation caused by the flood, the Benue-born preacher called on the relevant authorities to take necessary steps in order to forestall further reoccurrence.
“This is most unfortunate and sad. We feel your pains and the trauma this incident must have caused you. This is a temporary set back, which I known would surely come to pass in no distant time.  I urge you all not to allow this deter you from your communion with God,” he said.
In his response, the state’s deputy governor, Engr. Abounu thanked Dr. Paul and his wife, Becky for the kind gesture.
He informed them that the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo had during his last visit to the state assured them that the federal government would dredge River Benue to stop further disaster.
