Governor Samuel Ortom says Radio Benue Substation Idekpa will soon resume transmission services.
He stated this today during a working visit to the station which is undergoing rehabilitation.
Addressing the people, Governor Ortom said the contractor handling the work was almost through with the job.

He said the resumption of broadcast services by the substation would give the people of the area access to timely and accurate information about government programmes and policies in order to be free from the falsehood being peddled on the social media by agents of opposition.
The Governor stated that the APC-led administration in Benue under his leadership is committed to the transformation of the state despite economic challenges.
While soliciting the people’s support to the council Chairman and his legislative council, Governor Ortom advised them against clashes with herdsmen as the Anti-Open Grazing Law has already taken effect, urging them to report security breaches for necessary action.
In separate remarks, APC Chairman Ohimini Local Government Area, Mr. Boniface Okloho and State Ex-Officio, Mr. Batholomew Aleke said they were grateful to Governor Ortom for reviving Radio Benue Idekpa Substation which was abandoned by the previous administration.
They pledged their unflinching support to the present administration, which according to them is youth friendly, as exemplified in the number of youths serving in elective and appointive positions at various levels.
