Dan Onjeh visits Abba Moro, commiserates with him over wife’s death (PHOTOS)

The Board Chairman, Project Development Institute, PRODA, Dan Onjeh, Wednesday paid a condolence visit immediate past Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, over the demise of his wife, Mrs. Veronica.

Onjeh, a former NANS president and senatorial aspirant, said the entire Benue South had lost a mother.
He said, “This is indeed one death too many. The entire Benue South has lost a mother.

“The news came to me as a rude shock. I pray God to give you and the family to bear the monumental irreparable loss,” Onjeh, who was accompanied by ace comedian, Enenche Enecnhe, Idoma Voice publisher, Ameh Comrade Godwin and Omale Onjeh said.
Speaking during thr visit, Abba Patrick Moro, described the demise of his wife as a big shock to the family.
He said the wife had been battling ailment for years and was hospitalized in Sweden for months in 2016.
According to him, “This is a rude  shock to the entire family. We all know that death is inevitable but we never expected it now.
“But we thank for everything. She is the mother of my first three children, but unfortunately all the children are overseas. One is in China, another in Canada and the third one in South Africa.
“One of my daughters was on her way to Makurdi where she was receiving treatment but unfortunately, she died before she got there.
“Throughout last week, I was really down, I never knew it was an omen. But all the same, I thank God for her life,” a tear-laden Moro said.
When approached by DAILY POST to recall the memorable moment with his late wife, the bereaved ex-minister said she would be remembered for her humility and open heart.
He said the late Victoria was 55.
