Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has declared May 22 as work free-day in honour of two catholic priests allegedly killed by Fulani herdsmen in the state.

Recall that Rev Fathers, Gor Joseph and Felix were last months killed after suspected herdsmen attacked the village.

Making the disclosure via Twitter handle of the government, Ortom said there will be a mass burial on the same day for the 17 victims of the attack respectively.

“Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, has just declared Tuesday, May 22, work free day to honour the two catholic priests who were recently killed with 17 worshippers in Mbalom, Gwer East local government area of the state”.
