Governor Samuel Ortom has reappointed his former Special Assistant, Mr. Simeon Ogaba, who trekked from Abuja to Makurdi to celebrate his victory at the Supreme Court.

The Governor who gave the directive for Ogaba’s reappointment today at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi when the latter visited him, said the passion the young man demonstrated over his victory deserved to be recognized and appreciated.

He acknowledged the support and prayers of the entire Benue people to his victories both at the polls and law courts, saying he was poised to deliver greater dividends of democracy to the people.

Mr. Ogaba stated that as the day for the Apex Court judgment approached, he went to God in prayers and promised to trek from Abuja to Makurdi if the Governor triumphed.

He said Governor Ortom’s God-fearing and courageous disposition and love for Benue people greatly inspired him.
