Orker Jev floors Akume in court

A national assembly tribunal sitting in Benue State has trashed a petition brought before it by Distinguished Senator George Akume challenging the victory of Orker Jev of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Recall that, Akume lost his seat to Jev in the last senatorial election in Benue Zone B.

He, however approached the tribunal to challenge the victory of Jev. The court on Wednesday threw out his case for lack of merit.
